How To Use A Virtual Assistant To Put Your Online Wealth Generation On Steroids
If you are not currently using a virtual assistant in your online wealth generation business, you are probably limiting your income or working too many hours, or both! A very wise mentor told me one of the distinguishing characters of highly successful people is the speed of implementation.
How quickly are you able to grow your business? What are the limiting factors? For most entrepreneurs it is either time or money. But what if you could get excellent quality work done by highly skilled people for $4-$5 per hour? Think about how much more you could get done in your business and how much faster it could grow.
If you can't outsource some of your tasks and get a return greater than the $4 cost, then that's a different issue for another article. Now you might think you can't get a quality assistant for under $5/hour, but I have and I know others that have too.
But you can get burned if you don't approach getting a virtual assistant in a systematic way. You need to outsource the right tasks and then you need to find the right virtual assistant.
Here's how I determined what tasks to outsource. I started out making a list of the tasks in my online wealth generation business, categorized in the following 3 columns:
Task group 1 - tasks I don't know how to do
Task group 2 - tasks I know how to do, but don't like doing or tasks that aren't an effective use of my time
Task group 3 - tasks I can or should do
You want to outsource tasks from group 1 and 2, but not group 3. You need to keep doing the things you do best and that make the best use of your time. Typically these will be income generating tasks. Tasks like talking with customers and prospects, strategic research, strategic planning, writing great sales copy, automating your business, and relationship building.
Outsource anything that is tedious, repetitive, or that requires a skill you don't have and that isn't integral to your business. The more of these tasks you outsource, the more time you will have for income generating tasks, and the faster your business will grow.
Even in the early days of your business when you do not have a lot of income yet, outsource as much as possible and you'll be amazed at how quickly your business will take off. Don't focus on how much it will cost, focus on how much more income it will generate.
