Beach Volleyball Equipment
In order to play any sport you must first own the equipment necessary. Some sports are much more expensive than others like golf for example. But in beach volleyball many times all you need is a volleyball and you are good to go.
The beach volleyball equipment that you need depends ON where you are playing and what is provided already. For the most part if you go to a beach to play volleyball they will have nets set up ON the sand already. But they don't have antennas or court lines. These are things that you have to provide yourself.
If you compare volleyball to golf you will realize that you are saving a ton of money. The golf clubs costs a fortune and then you have to pay everytime you go to play. A volleyball will cost about $35 but you will probably want at least 2 so that's a total of $70 dollars for a whole year of playing. If you have to buy lines they will cost about $50 bucks so you are looking at $120 dollars to play a sport all summer. That's cheaper than a good tennis racket.
One other piece of equipment that you may consider buying are sand socks. They are designed to protect your feet from extreme HEAT or COLD. They aren't an item that you must have but are good to own ON those very hot or very COLD days when you want to play some volleyball.
So when you break it down beach volleyball is one of the cheapest sports to play because most of the equipment is provided for you already.
