Stress Management Articles

Modern life grows ever more stressful. Medical professionals tell us how badly stress affects our health in myriad ways. Of course, some stress is good; we call it “excitement,” and it is stimulating and fun. The problem arises when tension and stress become our constant companions, filling the blood with adrenaline, keeping muscles tight and twitchy, oppressing our minds until we develop depression or anxiety, disturbing our sleep, breaking out in afflictions like eczema or hypertension and fraying our nerves so that we snap or growl at the people we love. Managing stress in our overstressed culture and remaining sane in an insane society is our greatest challenge. Look into our database of articles to find discussions of stress as a social illness, stress-related symptoms and diseases and some of the psychological roots of internal stress. Most importantly, you will find stress management techniques you can begin using right now.
