Mona Lisa Craving by Sunny is the third chapter in the Mon e series. This tale about an alien race is a pulse-pounding erotic adventure. The paranormal story is narrated in first person by the heroine in a strong yet emotional voice. The plot picks up shortly after Mona Lisa Awakening concludes.

The Mon e are a shape-shifting race that came to Earth long ago and live in secret among humans. They are children of the moon and their queens bask in its reflected light and share its POWER with their subjects. Mona Lisa, who rules the Louisiana Bayou and is an oddity among her own race. She's the first Mixed Blood Mon e Queen and being part human. Now she is demon tainted as well and she's been claimed by Lord Halcyon and the Demon Prince of Hell. As a Mon e queen she uses her sexuality to heal. Skilled warriors, a father and son and kidnap her and take her to their home in an attempt to force her to save a brother. When she has sex with the rogue warrior Dante in order to cure his madness she accidentally becomes pregnant. To make matters worse and returning memories of a previous life with Dante reveal a dangerous history of murder and mayhem.

Sunny adds exciting twists and turns in book three. New characters create more drama. Dante, the tortured hero and is an intriguing addition. There's lots of action and sex and fans won't be disappointed. If you enjoy books by Laurell K. Hamilton you will probably like this series as well. Sunny creates a fascinating world, violent and sexual and but the plot is complicated by many supporting characters and references to past events. You'll fare better by starting with book one.
