Contemporary politicians and political analysts separate politics into two distinct halves: left wing and right wing politics. At times, they also accept the idea of a center politics as the median path followed by policies that are neither left nor right. While the meaning of right-wing and left-wing politics vary between countries and applications, right wing politics is often linked to social and moral conservatism, religion, and law and order. I have noticed that leadership in America has a trickle-down effect on the bulk of the country. It sort of sets the mood, if you will. The values projected from the White House has real and tangible impact on the nature of what is acceptable or desirable behavior in the mainstream of society, particularly in the functions of the marketplace.

This article laments the present state of Anioma region currently facing marginalization and untold hardship with no visible presence of either State or Federal Government. It calls upon the leaders of the region to something or face sever wrath of self imposed economic failures. The positive activities of representation of the region in the legislature are also describes as not visible to the people.

The now historic 2008 US presidential campaign gave rise to two superstars among a cast of more conventional players. In that election, a flashy female Alaskan moose-hunter was tapped to be the vice-presidential candidate on a flailing conservative "maverick" ticket in response to a runaway liberal ticket after a disastrous eight years in which a unilateralist policy in Washington denied the obvious reality that the world was global and badly in need of cooperation.
