Until the arrival of the promising summer weather, it seemed that there were few (if any) upsides to the ongoing recession, weak pound, and the prospect of having to stay in the UK for the holiday season. However, now that the weather looks as if it will remain hot for the foreseeable future at least (fingers crossed), those of us who own dogs will no doubt be happy that of all the pet friendly holiday destinations the south of England is particularly accommodating.

Get away with your furry friends and let Intercontinental Hotels be your host. The chain owns Holiday Inn, Holiday Express, as well as other properties and many of them are pet friendly.
