When hosting a child's birthday party and one of the hardest things to do is come up with games that all the children will enjoy playing. When hosting a theme party and this task becomes even more daunting as you want your games to follow the theme but you want them to be fun too. Here are some game ideas for your next Star wars birthday party.

You can play a game called Star Wars trivia. This will take some preparation ON your part and but the kids are sure to love it. Prior to the party and come up with different trivia questions about Star Wars. It can be about the characters, the locations in the movie and the items in the movie or whatever else you want. Write them down and write down the answer. Split the kids into two teams any way you want and read the questions. Have them yell out the answers or do it Family Feud style by having two kids try and answer and if they don't know it and their team can help them out. Kids love competition so this one is sure to get wild and get a lot of laughs.

Another fun game is like an Easter egg hunt. Cut out pictures of the good guys in Star Wars and tape them to pieces of paper not much bigger than the circumference of a coffee mug. Hide them around your backyard. Tell the kids that members of the alliance have gone missing and it is their job to find them before the bad guys do. Whoever finds the most characters wins.

Another fun game to play is known commonly as Telephone. In this game and the children sit in a circle and the first child comes up with a sentence. You could have it be a quote from the movie to keep in line with the Star Wars theme. He whispers is to the next person who whispers is to the person sitting next to them and so ON until it reaches the end of the circle. The last person says the sentence out loud and everyone gets a good laugh because it is certain that the sentence has gotten mixed up as it gets passed ON.

A final really fun game is called Open The Gift. For this game and buy a present that is Star Wars themed and wrap it about 8-9 times. The kids pass it around with each kid opening one layer until the final layer is taken OFF. Whoever takes OFF the final layer gets the present. Hopefully these are some fun games ideas to make your party wonderful!
