2012 Unintended Consequences
There are dozens of events that have been predicted for the 12.21.2012 date; however, it may be something that we've not thought about, or given little thought to that becomes a fuse to catastrophes. It's those every day events that go unnoticed that can cause us great problems.Ã?Â
Forget about the number of sun spots, the weakness in the earth's magnetic field, Schumann's Resonance, and global warming. What about the increase in population data? Okay, how about these numbers?
>Between now and 12.21.2012 we will add about one half BILLION people to the planet.
>Twice as many babies are being born every day as the number of people dying.
>We are adding close to 75,000,000 people a day to the planetary needs.
>It's hard to divide a person, but that's 2.37 persons per second.
The Bible speaks of coming famines, and ancient prophecies speak of SOCIAL problems that sound like resource issues: scarcity of food, water, and other resources. So is the biggest issue in global health and well being as a result of 6.5 billion people fighting over who gets what? It's been estimated that we consume 100 times the resources of those who lived 200 years ago.
Can we do that?
Where will the fresh drinking water come from? How long can we continue to deplete our rain forests and strip the soil of its nutrients? How far can we go with genetically modified (GM) foods before we begin to cause major changes in out biological make up? The Mayan katun says that when resources become stretched (can you say oil?) people will begin to lose confidence in established religion and government.
Are we there yet?
