FSBO Articles

FSBO is short for For Sale by Home Owners. Earlier on, this was used by land owners who wanted to sell their properties without the intervention of a broker. However, these days FSBO is being used to the advantage of everybody who wants to buy or sell their lands. Using FSBO is being preferred by many these days because of the big advantage of the absence of the broker. Because of this the commission that adds up to around six percent of the actual cost is avoided and this brings down the actual cost factor as well. Another advantage is that there is face to face trading and no middlemen involved. FSBO goes a long way in sorting out the issue of middlemen as they can create ambiguities and issues when purchasing or selling property either by concealing facts or by talking of false advantages. Apart from this the cost of the property to be either sold or bought also hikes up as their commission gets added to that.
