If there is one thing the modern world has a glut of, it is environmental issues. Overpopulation and increased human activity are stripping the earth bare of resources, negatively impacting nature in the process. As a result, we have more than the usual share of environmental problems - polar ice shelves receding, ocean levels rising, killer hurricanes tearing razing down homes and countrysides; you name it, we've had it. This section is all about environmental issues from climate changes in the form of global warming and increase to the sea level to the anthropogenic effects on the natural environment brought about by nanotechnology, genetic engineering, resource depletion, urban sprawl, and increased environmental toxicity.
