Cookery Cookbook Reviews

Diets and cooking compete for top selling category every year. People are fascinated by eating and not eating. Strange. Anyway, cookbooks (or cookery books as some would call them) sprout on the shelves like morel mushrooms after a forest fire. You can find cookbooks that focus on generally healthy principles like keeping fat down or making vegetables more central in a meal. You might search out a book on vegetarian cooking or avoiding allergens such as wheat gluten, dairy or soy. A book might concentrate on recipes for a particular diet plan such as South Beach or Atkins, or for a cooking tool like a wok, grill or slow cooker. Cookbooks for a cuisine like French, Italian, Thai, Chinese, German, Polish or any other national or regional food culture are far too numerous to count, and then there are the basic favorites like Joy of Cooking. Choosing correctly among all these cookbooks requires either great good luck or an excellent collection of book reviews. We can't guarantee the former, but we have the latter right here in our extensive database of articles and reviews. Dig in!

Asian Dining Rules By Steven A Shaw
By: Alain Burrese | 2008-11-16 | Cookery Cookbook Reviews
I'll admit, I thought this might be a dry boring book when I first ordered it, but my love of Asian dining made me take the chance so I could learn something new. Again, I was surprised, because not only did I learn a lot of interesting things, I really enjoyed Shaw's writing and personal anecdotes that made this book a fun read.
