Coming up with a summary of any Tom Robbins novel is a difficult task, and this novel, Villa Incognito, his eighth, is particularly hard to summarize. It starts with a mythological creature, a Tanuki. What ensues is a convoluted adventure of which I'm not positive Robbins even knows the entire story. The novel makes for a fun, albeit vague, read.

Dean Koontz' False Memory tells a not-so-simple story of fear. Martie Rhodes takes care of her best friend, Susan, by taking her to a psychiatrist once a week. Susan has developed a strong case of agoraphobia, deathly afraid of leaving her home. One day, though, Martie develops her own fear, autophobia.
